Department of System Programming and Automatic Control Systems. The department executes the following activities:

• Prepares application software and applies them.
• Implements the setting up of the application software and devices and the optimization of system software;
• Performs  the optimization of disc sectors of the computers;
• Performs the archiving of the system software and application software;
• System administration of computing network of BSU;
• Takes virus protection measures of the computers;
• Take preventive measures for the protection of efficiency of the computing means;
• The restoration of the software in an emergency condition and damaged database;
• Testing the LAN(local area network) cabel lines  and separate devices;
• Organizes trainings  for computer basics literacy and application software  for employees;
• Organizes the relations with the organizations which provide for the supply of software and hardware;
• Carries out a systematic analysis of the software and hardware market;
• From time to time, informs the center leaders about the plans to upgrade the software and hardware;
• Preparation of the reports about the work in the department.
