The Department of Internet and network technologies. The department executes the following activities:

• To design and develop intranet network of BSU
• To provide working conditions and the security of network of BSU;
• To provideworking conditions and the security of information resources of BSU;
• Preparation the development of a network of BSU and constantly keeping it up to date;
• To provide the functioning of local computer networks of Baku State University, implement control over them, to participate in creation electronic link and electronic information exchange between the organizations of BSU structure and its subordinate bodies;
• Organizing safe and reliable network connection and information exchange between BSU structures, to supply safe and complete work of available systems;
• To supplythe installation and maintenance of servers and network equipment to BSU corporate network, managing available servers and network equipments, to provide the rights of the network users;
• To supply timely update of used technical means, realise acquisition and implementation of new server and network equipment orders;
• Creating,updating and maintenance the Website of BSUs;
• To prepare reports related to done work of the department.
